In 2002 the University of Regensburg and the Hans Lindner
Institute initiated the Interdisciplinary Entrepreneurship
Research Program (IGF) at the University of Regensburg.
Prof. Dr. Michael Dowling at the Chair of Innovation and
Technology Management and Prof. Dr. Jürgen Schmude
at the Chair of Economic Geography direct the program.
The main goal of the IGF is to advance academic entrepreneurship
research at the University of Regensburg an the region of Eastern Bavaria.
The yearly conference "Interdisciplinary European Conference on Entrepreneurship Research (IECER)" has since 2003 established itself as the ooportunity to discuss up-to-date entrepreneurship research results.
